INTELLIGENCE NOTE: Iranian ordnance is manufactured primarily by the Defense Industries Organization (DIO / DIOMIL) under the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL), and by Iran Ammunition Industries Group. The IRGC Quds Force is the primary external proliferation vector. Iranian ordnance is frequently encountered in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Bahrain, and the Persian Gulf/Strait of Hormuz.
