- CRITICAL: If a "PMN" is encountered, it MAY be an MS-3 pressure-release mine. DO NOT LIFT without confirming identity
- Bakelite body degrades over time; explosive may be exposed and sensitized
- Old mines with corroded fuze components may be extremely sensitive
- Arming delay wire may have already cut through lead in old mines -- treat ALL as armed
